My husband Ed and I have lived in Florence for many years but are very tied to Stevensville, also.
We have known Steve Gibson for many years, both in politics and now as a fellow resident here in the Bitterroot. Ed and I…..and I know Steve, also, consider it a great privilege to serve in whatever way we can or is needed.
Steve is widely respected by those who know him and have seen his accomplishments over the years. Before serving as a State Representative, he served as the Administrator for the Montana Juvenile Corrections and Youth Services Division, overseeing 200 employees with a 20 million dollar biannual budget. Steve has an MBA in criminal justice.
His leadership, management and budget expertise would be a blessing to the Town of Stevensville.
Steve and his wonderful wife, Debbie, have been married for 47 years and enjoy two children and two grandchildren.
Please, when you cast your ballot for mayor, consider the qualities of the person you are voting for. To have a person of Steve’s caliber step up and agree to run for this position is a tremendous opportunity for the Town of Stevensville.
