Yet another whining letter from Ty Capelle in the August 4, 2021 issue regarding the rebuilding of St. Francis of Assisi Church. The church was built in 1896 and is in need of many expensive repairs, as well as enlargement to serve the parish community which has grown since 1896. Not a dime of taxpayer (or Mr. Capelles’) money has been requested for the project.
Mr. Capelle seems to have made it his life’s ambition to block the building of the new church (which would from the outside look essentially the same as the current one.) All the legal fees he is complaining about would have never come about if the church neighbors hadn’t created them. One has to wonder about the true source of Mr. Capelle’s animus towards the church.
