Have you made up your mind on who you will vote for? I assume most have but let me throw out a few thoughts for those who haven’t.
The choice on which party to vote for is crystal clear UNLESS you subscribe to the following:
1. Rioting and looting are OK as witnessed in many Democratic run cities. Why anyone would continue to live in Portland after 200 plus days of rioting is beyond my comprehension.
2. Suppression of opinions/speech are OK if you do not agree with it. The evidence of this happening is enormous such as allowing censorship on the social media platforms Facebook and Twitter.
3. Denying citizens the right to protect their property and selves is OK. Check out the couple in St. Louis who confronted rioters on their property and are now facing criminal charges.
4. Defunding the police is OK. As I have previously stated, that is probably the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Council members in Minneapolis have recently expressed surprise that crime has gone up after they pursued this idea. Duh!
In the case of the Democratic candidates Bullock and Williams running for National office, I actually view them somewhat humorously. We are supposed to believe that they may be listed as Democrats but are really Independents. They repeatedly assure us that they do not agree with many aspects of the Democratic platform and will vote against gun control and defunding of the police. Excuse me, they are accepting record level funding from the Democratic Party and extreme liberals and I’m supposed to believe that rubbish?
Additionally, are you familiar with the concept of a “rookie”? Rookies in all organizations are told from day one to “sit down, shut up and watch how it’s done if you want any future support.”
