Gorski is the REAL ‘outsider’ for District 44

October 27, 2020 by Guest Post

By Mike Miller, Stevensville

In reference and public response to Michael Koeppen, Florence re: “SENATE DISTRICT 44” (Sep 22), he calls Theresa Manzella an “outsider.” Nothing could be further from the truth!

He’s a liar when he calls Theresa Manzella an “outsider.” She was born in the Bitterroot, and I’m guessing here, probably lived here most of her life, if not all.

The “outsider” is clearly Gorski. Born in Florida, and schooled in California and Washington. Since you seem to like the term “outer fringe” I suggest Gorski clearly fits the “extremist” left having attended Washington University and Berkeley (ranked #22 and #4 respectively on the list of “America’s Most Liberal Colleges” by CBS). https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/americas-most-liberal-colleges-ranked/47/

We see how those “extremist ideologies” of liberal policies are working in liberal strongholds such as Washington, California, and other states: rioting, burning, destruction, rampant racism, extreme taxation, unmanaged fires burning out of control (which we’re seeing here now, too, thanks to extreme ideologies of outer fringe liberalism!), theft of Constitutional RIghts, sanctuary cities for illegal aliens (law breakers!), etc.

We do NOT need or want Gorski’s extremist ideologies or outsider liberal policies here. If she wants to represent her people, she needs to move back to CA or WA!

I was mistaken in this original LTE; Manzella was not born here, as neither was Gorski.

My source of information was wrong, and I stand corrected. I supplied (in an earlier statement here that has yet to be published-as seems to be common lately), both my wrong and right links (Manzella’s own link states correctly her origins).

At no time, as Linda Schmitt poorly suggests, did Manzella attempt “to pull the wool over my eyes”.

Manzella was born in Michigan and resided there until adulthood. Worked for Pontiac Motors at their headquarters in Detroit. If she tries to make you think she’s a Montanan, she’s pulling the wool over your eyes. Margaret Gorski’s lived here 30 years, educated and worked in western states her entire adult life. Vote for Margaret. You can trust her Montana values. Tell Manzella to take a hike back to Michigan.

Thank you for writing your response. Manzella is not from Montana. Obviously some people are uncomfortable doing research.

Some people are comfortable with doing their research, but their source had published mistakes, and own up to that with follow on comments.

For whatever the reason, this paper’s website doesn’t seem very willing to publish my comments. I ‘screenshot’ them as proof, but can’t attach them here.

        Gorski isn’t from Montana either.

Really? I’ve lived here longer than Theresa. I moved here in 1991. And I am proud of my education. My parents taught me to study hard and work hard to get ahead and that is exactly what I have done. I congratulate anyone who invests in their education. And there is no such thing as a conservative or liberal education by the way, just education.

According to Theresa’s page, she moved here in 1992. Since you’re way older, that means Manzella has lived more of her life here than you have.

You’re wrong about “no such thing as a conservative or liberal education”; there IS such a thing. But don’t take my word for it; take liberal Huffington Post word for it.
      https://www.huffpost.com/entry/the-most-radical-colleges_n_892463

Take left leaning CBS word for it, also. Gosh, Gorski, look! The ones you went to are almost at the top of this list! https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/americas-most-liberal-colleges-ranked/

Then there’s the facts of your degree and practical workings: modern forestry practices on the West Coast are disastrous. But again, don’t take my word for it; take this left leaning source: https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2020/10/prescribed-burns-are-failing/616889/

The simple FACTS are you went to liberal/leaning colleges, and your career profession decision is having horrifying results.

Your liberal college degrees and liberal job practices of forestry are a disaster for this country. We don’t want or need more of your liberal disaster here.
