I’m celebrating the patriotic July Fourth by joining with others in “investing” in a phantom subscription to the only independent, historic-type paper remaining in this region–the Bitterroot Star.
Without a free press America wouldn’t be what it has become, and there wouldn’t be a voice to counter anti-U.S. ideologies of politics, education and fake media.
I’ll take an out-of-county subscription for $60, but don’t try to mail it to me for I’m not out-of-county. You save postage for I’ll pick up a free copy downtown.
Keeping the paper alive means I’ll always be able to put out a letter free to the reading public on any idea I get excited about and want to share with others.
Phantom subscriptions – a way to promote an independent press.
