Of course they do. The point of saying “Black Lives Matter” and “Native Lives Matter” and “POC Lives Matter” (POC = People of Color) these days is that those parts of our society are suffering particularly, have been at a disadvantage for a very long time, and are often ignored, even though they are every bit as American as the rest of us — or more-so, for that matter.
I just saw a celebrity on YouTube point out that people who insist on saying “All Lives Matter” would be the same people who would have interrupted Jesus at the Sermon on the Mount when he said “Blessed are the poor” to say “Blessed are all people.”
Of course all lives matter! At last we are being asked to recognize that through our lives and actions. “Liberty and Justice for ALL.”
