Charles Hayden Wilson, 92, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020 at the Bee Hive Homes in Hamilton, Montana. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on April 25, 1927.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, his parents, George and Crystal Wilson, brother, George, sisters, Betty and Dorothy, and daughter Cecelia Succetti.
Charles is survived by his sister, Thelma Zinnich, in El Cajon, California, daughters, Gerry Pendleton (John), Mary Sue Backer in Corvallis, Montana, and Patricia Blackaby (Robert) in Pocatello, Idaho, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charles served in the U.S. Navy and received a World War II Victory Medal, American Area Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal 2 stars, Philippines Liberation Medal 1 star, among others. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 25 years, retiring as a Sergeant Major.
Charley married the love of his life, Rosemary, in 1964. They were married for 55 years. He was a loving and devoted husband. He will be missed by all his family.

Graveside services were held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Stevensville, Montana with Father Jim Connor from St. Francis Catholic Church in Hamilton, where Charley was a member, presiding. Steve Winkler provided music.
