If, like me, you are concerned about Northwestern Energy’s request to increase rate payers’ bills in order to build another natural gas plant (and promote more destructive fracking), please consider supporting Initiative 187, a less costly and clean alternative.
I-187 offers a practical means for Montana to transition from dirty to clean reliable energy by encouraging renewable electricity development, helping fossil fuel workers displaced by the transition to clean electricity, and maintaining energy tax revenue. And with the passage of I-187 our energy bills are projected to decrease!
