Francis Perry ‘Pete’ Fuller

Hamilton – Francis Perry Fuller, 80, of Hamilton passed away due to cancer on November 19, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born March 19, 1939 in Mesa, Arizona to Perry and Norma (Martin) Fuller. He went to Isaac Grade School in Phoenix and his high school years were at Glendale High School in Glendale, AZ. In high school he excelled as a member of the track team. On May 29, 1959, he married Cornelia Frances “Rusty” Holland, his bride of 60 years. Pete moved his family from Phoenix, AZ to Santa Barbara, CA where his work as a collator operator in a print shop. After seven years there he and his family moved to Sams Valley, OR to continue in the printing business, but after eight years he went to work in the Grange Co-Op, as a clerk and animal specialist. In 1980, Pete came to know the Lord and he became very active in his church. On December 5, 1994, he and Rusty moved to Hamilton, MT to retire but the Lord had other ideas. He went back to work for Cenex for a few years, also worked in a local tool and die shop and in his spare time he again became active in his local church.

Through the years he has been a Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher, Deacon and currently a Trustee. His prayer is and has always been that all would come to know his Savior Jesus Christ. Outside of church he spent 25 years as a 4-H leader and fair swine Superintendent. For many years he and his wife led a teen square dance club, along with this for three years he put on a statewide square dance festival. Pete enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors, always spending time with his family. For ten years Pete served with honor in the Arizona National Guard.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Norma Lee Wurich and a granddaughter Alicia Renee Fuller. Pete is survived by his bride Rusty; son David (Nettie) Fuller, Hamilton and daughter Dee Ann Fuller, Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren Chris Fuller of Hamilton; Rainee Clark, Grants Pass, OR; Tammie Dykstra, Sequim, WA and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also, brother Mervin (Caryl) Fuller, Globe, AZ and sister Roberta (Al) Brand, Victorville, CA.

A memorial service was held on November 26 at the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Victor. Pastor Shane Agee officiated.
