Some ‘White Christian Americans’ believe they are genetically pure and superior to the rest of humanity. They are wrong. Though individually unique, we are who our ancestors were. I am in awe of how the Creator of the Universe keeps all things in motion, including the evolving diversity in humanity.
The people of the British Isles were Celts, Jutes, Britons, Romans, Saxons, Angles, and Norse. I am these, plus aboriginal Labradorian. By 2019 labels, I am English, Irish, Welsh, German, Danish, Greenlander, French, Italian, Canadian, Norwegian, and a WCA.
Deep DNA tests added Denisovan and Neanderthal. These ancestors lived in Russian Siberia, China, Spain, Indonesia, Australia, and throughout Eurasia. I am who they were too. BTW, Neanderthals had greater survival skills and larger brains than modern man.
White: We must abandon the notion of just two original parents OR add ‘black’ African to our lineages. All humanity began in Africa. Christ chose to come to mankind in a ‘brown’ body. I am a mix of white, black, brown, red, and yellow. Add green, if you believe ancient Martians landed on earth.
Christian: Centuries of bigotry, tribalism, and persecutions prove Christians have not loved each other as Christ commanded. My family has included Anglican, Methodist, Episcopalian, LDS, Catholic, and Presbyterian. Christ taught love, NOT that one set of worship practices is superior to others. WCAs who chanted “Jews will not replace us” will face a difficult Day of Judgement. Christ was a Jew.
American: My ‘Americanness’ is due to two facts: I was born here, and my aboriginal ancestors were in the Americas for thousands of years.
I am EVERYMAN. So is everyone who can think outside 2019.
