PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Town Council of the Town of Stevensville has declared certain items surplus property by Town of Stevensville Resolution 420; and, if any property is sold or transferred to a county or political subdivision, the sale or transfer shall be subject to provisions of Section 7-8-101 MCA; and, the Lincoln County Rural Fire District #1 has expressed the desire to acquire the Towns surplus property as described herein; and, the Town of Stevensville has determined it is appropriate to transfer the property to the Lincoln County Rural Fire Department #1 for the sum of $35,000.00.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Stevensville intends to transfer the following property to the Lincoln County Rural Fire District #1:
1993 International Fire Pumper – VIN# 1HTSDPCR1PH506063
FURTHER, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Rock Creek Rural Fire District has expressed the desire to acquire the Towns surplus property as described herein; and, the Town of Stevensville has determined it is appropriate to transfer the property to the Rock Creek Rural Fire District for the sum of $10,000.
Now, therefore the Town Council of the Town of Stevensville intends to transfer the following property to the Rock Creek Rural Fire District:
1995 KME Fire Pumper – VIN# 1K9AF4280SN058145
Public comment on the transfer may be sent to Town Hall, 206 Buck Street, Stevensville MT 59870 or emailed to clerk@townofstevensville.com. Public comment must be received by December 21, 2018.
