Republicans are impervious to hypocrisy!
Nationwide, Republicans have hammered Democrats as being a “violent mob,” because they’ve had the audacity to vigorously but non-violently protest the appointment of an unstable, dishonest, partisan, probable sexual predator to the Supreme Court.
In Montana, former GOP chair Will Deschamps encouraged Trump supporters to bring guns to the Missoula Trump rally, because “we know how to use em’.”
Then, at Thursday’s rally in Missoula, cult leader Donald Trump praised Republican Congressman Greg Gianforte for criminally body slamming a reporter, and the Republican Cult laughed and cheered about the assault.
What’s next? Will the Republicans cheer while Donald Trump tells the “hilarious” story of a Washington Post journalist being tortured, having his fingers cut-off, and then beheaded? Two years ago, that would have seemed far-fetched. Today, we know it could happen at the next Trump rally. And if it does, it will be news for a day. Then the Republican Cult leader will say something even more depraved to entertain his fans.
On November 6th, Montanans can break free of the Republican Cult and the horrible stereotype that Trump, Gianforte, and Rosendale have reinforced about our state. Vote blue. The world is watching.
