The Ravalli County Board of Health (BOH) will conduct a Public Meeting to receive citizen comment on the issuance of a Replacement Wastewater Treatment System Policy. The issuance of the policy is to provide guidance and procedure for addressing existing, in-use dwelling or structure served by a failed Wastewater Treatment System installed after January 1, 1972, without an Installation Permit.
Information describing the policy is available for inspection at the Ravalli County Environmental Health Department, in the Administrative Center, 215 S. 4th Street, Suite D, Hamilton, MT 59840, and on the Ravalli County website. The public meeting will be held Wednesday, August 8th, at 3:00 p.m., in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Administrative Center. The public may comment verbally, or in writing, at the meeting. Comments and information submitted at the public meeting will be considered in the decision on said policy.
