This fall all of us need to make the time to vote. It’s one of the few civic duties that our country asks of us and here in Montana, with our sparse population, every vote really does count.
We are lucky here at the north end of the valley to have a great candidate for House District 88 in Margaret Gorski. She and I served together on local, state and national committees and boards for almost 20 years. I know her to be a real team player who is thoughtful about the pros and cons of actions and careful to make sure that group decisions consider everyone’s input. That is why I think she would be a good representative.
Speaking for myself, I’m getting pretty tired of the same old political names and faces making the same tired promises here in the Bitterroot. Our legislators should not be rigid in their views but need to consider all options, regardless of party affiliation when addressing the complexity of issues facing our valley and our state. Margaret has proven to me that she would do just that as our representative.
It matters who we vote for. I urge you to take a hard look at Margaret when you decide.
