Darby boys, girls split their games

Darby picked up a win over Clark Fork in 13C conference action. The Tigers caught fire in the second quarter and never looked back. They went on to win, 65-54. Nelson Smith had 16 points to pace the Tigers. Dylan Parks and Aaron Hansen each added 15 more.

Clark Fork – Haskins 2, Mask 14, Tallison 6, Waddle 9, Voll 19, Radford 4.

Darby- Aaron Hansen 15, Nelson Smith 16, Cole Kayser 6, Dylan Parks 15, Daniel Muir 3, Gabe Smith 8.

On Thursday, Darby fell to Seeley-Swan, 56-51. A slow second quarter was the downfall for the Tigers when they only scored six points while Seeley doubled that. Parks scored 26 points to lead the Tigers.

Seeley-Swan 56, Darby 51

Darby – Parks 26,  N.Smith 12, G. Smith 6, Hansen 6, Kayser 1.

Seeley-Swan – Johnson 13, Haines 13, Smith 10, Johnson 10, Sloan 4, Wood 4, Shelmerdine 2.

The Lady Tigers held off the Lady Blackhawks of Seeley-Swan and gained a two point conference win. The Lady Tigers took a three point lead   into the half and then fought to hold on for the 53-51 win. Casey Ehmann had 27 points for Darby.

Darby – Casey Ehmann 27, Mackenzie Smith 9, Shianne Kauk 6, Kimber Schlapman 5, Gracie Lang 4, Makenzie Clark 2.

Seeley-Swan – Morse 13, Bartsch 11, Kovatch 11, Miller 9, Robbins 5, Mercer 2.

It was a different story for the Lady Tigers against Clark Fork. The MudCats came out on fire and only allowed Darby to score 10 points in the first half. Clark Fork went on to win, 69-29.

Clark Fork – Kelly 22, Lommen 18, Mask 9, Krutilla 8, Mueller 6, M. Boughman 4, E. Boughman 2.

Darby – Ehmann 11, Smith  9, Sehlapman 5, Kauk 2, Clark 2.

Victor lost to Seeley Swan, 75-43.Mason Agee had 15 points to lead Victor. Skyler Webberson and Tristin Chavez each added 10. The Victor girls lost to Seeley-Swan, 58-9.
