To the cruel and heartless individual that chose to take the life of the little box turtle on Saturday, September 26: I hope you are proud of your evil self.
On Highway 93 heading north between Bell Crossing and the Stevi Cutoff, the turtle had made it across the southbound lanes and was in the passing lane of the northbound. I had just seen him, stopped, and was running back to get him safely across the road.
You were the only vehicle even close. I was waving you over to the right lane and instead of moving over, you aimed directly at the turtle, making a perfect hit with your right front tire. What a disgusting and cowardly thing to do. You should be ashamed of yourself! However, anyone who could do something like that knows no shame. People like you are one of the things that is so very wrong with our world today.
You need to talk to your Creator and humbly ask forgiveness for your action. Since you still walk this earth, you have time to make amends and correct your way of being.
