Mark Adams is one of three candidates running for Town of Stevensville Mayor. This week yard signs supporting his candidacy have popped up around town.
I believe MT Code 13-1-101 is the applicable code regulating political signs. The code states in part (3a-b): (3) A statement of candidacy shall include, but not be limited to:
(a) the complete name, office sought, and party affiliation (if applicable) of the candidate; and
(b) the complete name and address of the candidate’s campaign treasurer and campaign depository, and the complete name and address of his or her deputy campaign treasurer and secondary campaign depository, if any.
I question the qualifications of a Mayoral candidate who doesn’t even know or follow the code for political signage. Though not an egregious offense, it makes me seriously question what other codes/rules/regulations won’t Mark know or live up to as Mayor of the Town of Stevensville?
