I trust Trump.
I trust Trump to be exactly as he has repeatedly shown himself to be.
The thing about trust is that it doesn’t work very well if you are trusting someone to be like you, or to be like you want them to be, or even to be like they say they are.
You have to trust people to be the way they are, and they demonstrate that over time in words and actions.
Time and again — as conservative, liberal, and in-between media document everyday — Trump has shown himself to be interested only in himself and his family and what they can get out of other people and the situations they engineer themselves into. He says what he thinks people want to hear, enjoys the applause, and then does what suits him.
Are you like Trump? Does what suits him suit you? Can you really trust him to want to do anything for you?
