A cult is a group of people who are so devoted to a person, thing, or idea that they have given up their ability to think for themselves in favor of whoever or whatever they are devoted to.
Thinking is neither good nor bad, but certainly complicated, and all of us probably wish from time to time that someone else would do ours for us. Trouble is: we have to use our brains to choose among all the possibilities.
I see one unproblematical choice, because we all want it for ourselves: kindness. How about indulging in a cult of simple kindness, always?
