As part of his worldwide tour highlighting songs from all 17 albums of his 35-year career, multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Geoff Tate will make a stop on Saturday, July 15th at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Building, 223 S. 2nd in Hamilton. Tate is regarded as one of the most skilled vocalists in the rock genre with hundreds of modern, popular artists citing him as a major influence. He is the original singer for the band Queensryche, which he fronted for over 30 years.
Tate will present an upcoming all acoustic show, backed by a 5-piece acoustic band of musicians from the United States and Scotland and will feature two guitar players, violin, and multiple percussion instruments to produce a high energy acoustic version of some of the heavy metal genre’s most-recognized songs, including Silent Lucidity, Jet City Woman, Empire, I Don’t Believe in Love, and Eyes of a Stranger.
