Support for Gianforte

April 18, 2017 by Guest Post

I am so saddened by the divide in America today. I entered into politics last year, knowing that it would be historical, by volunteering to call voters for five months across Montana, my home of 27 years, for the GOP Governor’s race. I learned that the voters just don’t know who to trust anymore.
Today’s special election is no exception. I do my best to be honest and fact check what I say to voters, about all the candidates, to be fair.
I had the honor to meet and rally with Ryan Zinke and Greg Gianforte in Missoula and Helena. We easily elected Ryan Zinke last year, and he is proudly endorsing Greg Gianforte to replace him as our next Congressman, saying, “Greg is committed to a strong national defense, a conservative agenda, to fighting to keep and bear our arms, stand up to liberal radical environmentalists, voting to simplify a tax code, reduce our tax burden, and to fight for freedom and liberty for ALL Americans!”
As for me, I do want a smart businessman, a man of faith, with a wife at his side, who both desire to serve us, flying home every weekend, at their own expense, to stay grounded, stand on traditional principles and not get caught up in DC politics, staying true to Montana and make themselves accessible to the Montana people. Greg Gianforte, preparing to campaign for Governor, traveled our state for over two years, driving over 75,000 miles, staying in the people’s homes every night, not motels, to learn their needs. He also met with businesses and organizations to discern how to get back state control from the Federal government. Greg and Susan have given back over half of their income to organizations striving to help people change their lives for the better. Greg freely gives his time mentoring everyday Montanans to follow their dreams and start their own businesses. Now this man is ready to step in and be my Congressman and I am proud to be supporting and working hard to help get Greg Gianforte elected on Thursday, May 25th. I humbly ask you to trust what I have said is true and do the same.
Pat Earnest, Hamilton
