I was moved by the letter written by Dallas Erickson (2-22-17) regarding the two dams south of the valley. I would like to see a response in the very near future by the County Commissioners, the Department of Natural Resources and the Bureau of Reclamation. The County Commissioners have heard these encouragements to have an Early Warning System on the dams in the past, and it is in their care we citizens rest. I’d like to know they are leaning on the other two institutions (that own the dams) to share their plan to address this possible disaster scenario in the near future.
