Let me start by saying I have had many black friends over the years, I am not a racist, nor will I apologize for being white. People should be proud of who they are and where they came from, no matter what their ancestral past. But this push on our schools and colleges to make students ashamed of who they are is out of control and parents need to start standing up and put an end to it.
I have read where some colleges want white students to be ashamed of being white, after all they are told they are privileged. Just because you are white does not make you privileged! There are many black families that are rich and have opportunities whites will never have in their lifetime. I grew up in a town where Polish people were looked down on as poor and uneducated. As soon as they knew you had a ski at the end of your name you were looked at as mentally stupid and classless. I paid for my own college and worked hard to get where I am today. It’s the same opportunity afforded to everyone in this country.
Parents need to strongly complain to their schools and colleges where their children attend if they are being told they are worthless and privileged because they are white. This only causes division and hate between people and we don’t need more of this kind of behavior. This kind of thinking is dangerous and ignorant and coming from people who themselves are racist.
We are born to whom we are born, black or white, and should be proud of who we are as people and this country where anyone can succeed. Start shutting the mouths of those who want to take this country down and stand up to prejudice toward whites.
