Florence keeps streak going

Florence continued their unbeaten streak with a 64-20 win over St. Ignatius on Thursday night. The Lady Falcons jumped out early and never let up as they cruised to the win. They scored 22 points in the first quarter alone. Autumn Round led the Lady Falcons with 13 points. Rilee Mangun had 13 points and MaKenna Liles added 12 more.

St. Ignatius – Buck 2, McCrea 5, Brander 8, Marsh 3, Arlint 2.
Florence – Alexis Taulbee 4, Autumn Round 15, Sarah Hopcroft 2, Emma Stensrud 3, Jewel Zeiler 7, Rilee Mangun 13, MaKenna Liles 12, Chloe Arthur 8.
Florence edged Hamilton on Monday, 47-42. Liles had 14 points to lead the Lady Falcons. Reilly Rostad had nine points to pace Hamilton.
The Butte Central Maroons jumped out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they went on to top Hamilton, 62-45. Hamilton made a bit of a rally in the second quarter but could not stop Molly Peoples who finished with 26 points. Hamilton was paced by Tessa Della Silva’s 17 points.
Butte Central 62, Hamilton 45
Butte Central – Bolton 2, Peoples 26, St. John 16, Joyce 12, Strizle 4, Holmes 2.
Hamilton – Tessa Della Silva 17, Tristy Searle 4, Kara Nye 1, Mallory McGill 11, Kalian Roucheleau 2, Rachael Ringer 8, Lauren Ryter 2.
Darby only had two players score in their game against Plains. Peyton Muir and Casey Ehmann each scored 10 points, which was the total for the Lady Tigers. Plains finished with 41 points.
Plains 41, Darby 20
Darby – Peyton Muir 10, Casey Ehmann 10
Plains – Laws 12, Josphson 1, Huenik 2, Kara Altmiller 18, Thompson 8.
Tuesday, Darby defeated Valley Christian, 46-25. Casey Ehmann had 21 points to lead the Lady Tigers and Nicole Slanger added 10 more.
Victor received a Christmas present in the form of Payton Tillotson on Thursday. The senior, who transferred back from Stevensville last spring, became eligible on Thursday. Tillotson began her high school basketball career in Victor before moving to Stevensville a couple of years ago. She made her debut for the Lady Pirates on Thursday and finished with 18 points. Jamie Burdett had 19 points in the 46-27 win.

Lincoln – Dietz 15, Kamps 5, Jorgensen 5, Reisch 2.
Victor – Mcala Theis 4, Madison Allred 2, Shelby Harberts 3, Jamie Burdett 19, Payton Tillotson 18.
Victor defeated Two Eagle, 39-18. Jamie Burdett paced Victor with 15 points.
Corvallis continued their unbeaten streak with a 64-54 win over Stevensville. Corvallis jumped out to an early lead but Stevensville started to close the gap in the second half. Calla Haldorson netted 27 points for the Blue Devils. Stevensville’s Makayla Davids had 14 points.
