Trump can’t do it

November 15, 2016 by Guest Post

I did not vote for Donald Trump. Neither did I vote for Hillary Clinton. Nor did I vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein. I didn’t even write in Bernie Sanders or Ron Paul as a protest. To be quite honest, I didn’t vote for President at all. That means I can make the following statement and be completely unbiased about it: Donald Trump will NOT keep the following promises he made while campaigning.
1. Build “The Wall” and make Mexico pay for it. Won’t be done.
2. Drain the swamp. Won’t be done.
3. Put Hillary in jail. Won’t be done.
4. Make other rich countries pay for their own defense. Won’t be done.
5. Bring back jobs from China. Won’t be done.
6. Grow the economy by at least 6 percent. Won’t be done.
7. Deport 11 million illegal immigrants. Won’t be done.
8. End birthright citizenship. Won’t be done.
9. Defund Planned Parenthood. Won’t be done.
10. Many, many more which will never be heard of again.
I will go on record and state unequivocally that the millions of people who voted for Trump to correct this country’s wrongs and “Make America Great Again” will be sorely disappointed. I predict that, while he may tinker around the edges, substantial change to correct America’s course will not happen under Trump’s watch. Once again, those who put their faith and trust in the system to ensure a better life for themselves, their children, and their grandchildren will see their hope disappear like frost under a warm sun.
Perhaps I’m wrong. I’m sure I will be told so. However, no matter what he does (or doesn’t do), one thing is certain—if you voted for him, then you own it. For better or for worse. Live with it.

Roger is wrong on all parts. When I was on a ship, my co-workers told every one don’t tell Russel it can’t be done. He just may do it. When ever there was problem, they all came to me for help.
On the last two major election I have found 3 people that has never voted in their entire life and I took them to the court house and got them register to vote. To be a good American, you should vote.
America right or wrong we are still the best country in the world.

Roger, you state “I didn’t vote for President at all, then proceed to “go on record” and tell those who actually did vote to “own it”.

Own this: if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Since you didn’t vote, sit down, shut up, and hold on.
