We are so very proud of Ravalli County and the citizens who supported and participated in the funeral activities for Cpl George Simmons. There are so many folks to thanks but we have to personally mention Frank and Doug Mason. They were wonderful. We also thank the military color guards and all of the people who lined the streets – the firefighters, the law enforcement, school and county officials, churches, our Bitterroot youth, and the media. Yes, the media did a super job. Thank you.
Now, let’s all take a lesson from Cpl Simmons who gave it his all for America. Our country is still great and we live in a beautiful state. We are blessed so let’s move forward united.
