On May 3, nonprofits in the Bitterroot reached out for support from our community. There was awesome support from KLYQ, 107.9, the Ravalli Republic, KECI, and the Star. Clatters Coffee Shop hosted us and gave discounts on their drinks. To all of these businesses, we thank you for helping us get the word out. We also thank the 140 supporters who made donations.
But we owe an apology to those of you who tried to make a donation and could not find a button to access the donation pages. There was a huge software issue which affected Give Local across the nation—not just MtGives. The ability to donate was intermittent starting about 8am through 6pm. Occasionally a supporter would be connected, but most of the time not. We can imagine your frustration when you tried to send a donation but could not figure out how. Some of you decided to send your donation by snail mail and we appreciate your persistence. The software company has a year to figure all this out because we do plan to do this again.
Thank you again for all who supported our efforts; every nonprofit in the valley thanks all of you for the many ways that our community supports us.
