Why would we want them here?

Responding to Mr. Russ. You don’t know your Constitution! Nowhere does it say religion has to be respected! It says Congress can’t make laws establishing a religion and can’t prohibit people from exercising their religion.
A true Muslim isn’t going to become a citizen of the U.S. as they must recite and swear an oath of allegiance and a Muslim is sworn to obey the law of Islam and the two aren’t compatible. Once here these people try to institute their own laws and courts. Alabama has already had to shut down Muslim courts that tried to force their own Sharia law. If you don’t know anything about Sharia you better learn of its evilness.
You wrote the founding fathers put lots of thought into our essential right. It’s inalienable rights. Here is what a few thought of Islam. John Adams said Islam founders were “military fanatics and contemptible.” John Q. Adams said Islam is “violence and lust to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature and it commands to fight and conquer other lands in the cause of Allah and were at odds with our Republic of peace and Judeo Christian ethics on which America was founded.” Jefferson learned that their book commanded the faithful to plunder and enslave non-Muslims.
You said if Muslims were good citizens they shouldn’t be harassed. But everywhere they have gone they have proven their goal is to dominate whatever country they are in, rape, bomb, and cause violence. Once here there is no turning back and the trouble is at your doorstep.
Many of us living here don’t want violence, we want a safe place for those who live here now and since this religion has proven to be violent, why would we want them here?
