This is a letter of thanks to all the citizens and the entire community, for all your support throughout my twenty years of service.
I have worked for the City of Hamilton as the Director of Parks, Recreation and Cemetery and was unfortunately forced to retire due to an injury. I will miss all the people I worked with, the citizens, the community members, as well as the many families I was able to help. Thank you for great everlasting memories.
I was asked if I had any regrets, and was able to answer that very quickly with two responses, having to leave my job, and not having the budget to make all our parks up to date with current playground equipment.
I made sure the department had the highest standards of maintenance possible and took pride in all phases of operations. I enjoyed it very much and will miss it dearly. I wish all of you the best as I move forward with whatever new adventures that come my way.
Thank you all for so many wonderful years!
Terry Cole
