Support for Chilcott

April 26, 2016 by Guest Post

The voters of Ravalli County have some good choices for County Commissioner. I suspect all would do a fine job. Ravalli County candidates are to be commended for their willingness to become 24x7x365 public servants. It speaks well of them. I do know one of the candidates, Commissioner Greg Chilcott. He is viewed as smart and capable by his colleagues across the state. You can be assured what he has to say has been well thought out. When Greg speaks, I listen up. I’d like for my education to continue.
I wish the voters in Ravalli County well. Do take a good look at Commissioner Chilcott.
James E. Reno
Yellowstone County Commissioner

I do agree with you on one thing, though, Commr. Reno: the voters should definitely take a good look at Cmmr. Chilcott.

You might want your education to continue, Commissioner Reno, but it shouldn’t be at our expense. Commr. Chilcott has still not explained to the taxpayers why he voted to give two land developers – Paul Wilson and Stacey Dykman – a total of $950,000 for no apparent reason. When he doesn’t explain why he voted to give away nearly a million dollars in tax money to two land developers, the taxpayers are left to figure it out for themselves, and the answer doesn’t sound good.
