The GFWC Bitterroot Woman’s Club wishes to thank all those involved in the recent fall scholarship fundraiser at the Higher Ground Brewery. Auction and raffle items were donated by merchants, services and businesses from Missoula to Darby as well as by the Brewery itself. Special thanks go to those customers who patronized the event by contributing to the “Pint Night,” buying items and/or raffle tickets.
GFWC is an international woman’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Giving scholarships is one way the Bitterroot Woman’s Club contributes to our community, and this event provided enough for nearly 5 of the 6 scholarships given to graduates of the Bitterroot Valley this coming June.
