I am outraged and apoplectic! These damn commissioners need to be sued individually for failure to “fairly and honestly” represent the citizens of Ravalli County. Let’s take it out of their wallets for a change. There must be some kind of law to protect us from these scavengers.
We need to put some numbers showing the ineptitude and lawlessness of the Board of Commissioners. Can the Star review the 2015 business received from Ravalli County and then apply the rates you quoted for 2016 insertions and the higher rates awarded to the Ravalli Republic for the same business? We, the oppressed taxpayers, can then see exactly how much more the Commissioners’ favoritism (and revengefulness) is costing us.
Is it any wonder that Kalispell, Missoula, Bozeman and even Butte are flourishing while Hamilton slowly but inexorably becomes a ghost town with the caliber of leadership so-called Republicans continue to elect?
