What if they gave a war and nobody came?
Well, nobody showed up to share thoughts Friday noon on the blue chairs outside the Ravalli County Museum. I put the time to good use enjoying the fall air and reading the introduction to my copy of the Koran. Donna Gibney was right that I haven’t read the book, but now it’s clearer to me where it came from about 1300 years ago and why. Apparently there are many parallels to the Bible.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to read the two books at the same time and discuss them without the input of any adamant believers or “experts”? After all, we all come from the same loving Creator and are gifted with good hearts and brains. I suspect we would discover that that Creator intended us to work things out generously and peacefully. Isn’t that what love means?
If anyone cares to pursue it, I’m at maryft@charter.net.
