After all the horrible fires we have had, and the thick as pea soup smoke, hazardous to our health, the headlines of the Ravalli Republic… The Forest service would like to start burning undergrowth and logging debris.
Haven’t we had enough? Fires in Montana and Idaho are still smoldering, the toxins from the smoke are still affecting our lungs, the ground is still dry. The Bitterroot National Forest has turned over some of our healthiest forests to Pyramid Lumber, and the Forest Service wants to burn the logging debris at our expense and our health.
