The Hamilton boys golf team finished 12 strokes behind Billings Central to take the second place trophy in Sidney last weekend. Central finished with 650 while Hamilton had 662. Max Toenjes was consistent in his play; finishing with a 78 on Friday and 76 on Saturday. He was five strokes behind Billings Central’s Liam Clancy and finished in second place. Other Hamilton golfers who finished in the top 15 were Josh Heath who shot a 163 and finished fifth, and Blaine Wetzsteon who shot a 166 and was 14th.
The Hamilton girls finished ninth with a team score of 950. Sydni Rose finished sixth with a 180 for both days. Coral Schultz of Whitefish won with 156.
