I was driving north on S. 9th St. and passed part of River Park, the football field, and Westview School on the west side of the street and houses on the east side. I wondered where the students and staff will park when school and college start. There are only about two areas that I thought could work, but there would be problems. Will the tennis fences be taken down and the tennis courts used as a parking lot? Or, will the south part of Claudia Driscoll Park be used as a parking lot and then the people would walk down N. 9th and cross the street at W. Main? That might not be good or safe because of young children playing in the park and cuts off part of the park property. That leaves the tennis courts, so where will the people and tennis teams play tennis? Will the Hamilton Public Schools pay for new tennis courts somewhere in town on some school property, or will the city (taxpayers) pay for new courts somewhere in town? Are there other ideas planned?
