Many of you are undoubtedly glad to have a collection site in Stevi for recyclables. Ravalli County Recycling has contracted with the Town of Stevensville to provide this service.
The collection dumpster is not a garbage can! The signs clearly state which products go where. You are asked to remove all caps/lids and rinse food debris, milk, detergent, etc.
A volunteer at Ravalli County Recycling has to sort through every bin and remove caps, trash, plastic bags and items that we don’t accept, etc.
Please have a heart for the volunteers and sort your recyclables and place them in the proper bin. Otherwise this free service may not be available in the future.

News flash, Betsy Saylor in Hamilton: this isn’t free. Stevi taxpayers are paying through the nose for this.
