Most of us would like to see the federal deficit brought under control so this country could be on sound footing again. Warren Buffet stated that he could end the deficit in five minutes; “Just pass a law that states that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election!”
Fortunately, we have a candidate for the U.S. Congress who wants to clean up Washington, D.C. and he is John Lewis. He suggests ending the
gold-plated pensions of Congressmen/women and cutting Congress’ pay by 10%.
It’s time Congress worked for the people of this country, not just themselves and corporations!
I applaud John Lewis’ efforts to clean up Congress and fully support him for the U.S. Congressional seat.
