Support for Burrows

October 29, 2014 by Guest Post

I am asking you to please join me in supporting Jeff Burrows in his bid for re-election as County Commissioner from District 4. The reasons for supporting Jeff are many. Since his first day in office he has listened to citizens and staff, researched the issues and lead toward the resolution of those issues. He demonstrates strong leadership and a high degree of integrity on a daily basis. Jeff takes responsibility for his mistakes with humility and works diligently to correct and learn from them. Jeff’s desire to serve the citizens is obvious to all that work with and around him.
While Jeff and I have voted differently on a few issues, he has always articulated his rationale for his position concisely and respectfully. He has set the bar very high on the issue of transparency in local government (the editor of the Bitterroot Star recognized this as well, November 5, 2013 issue). Jeff not only considers his decision(s) carefully BEFORE he casts his vote, he continues to review his decision(s) AFTER the vote. Anyone attending a meeting with the Board of County Commissioners is treated respectfully by Jeff and their input is well considered. He is always looking for higher levels of efficiency in the delivery of the services we provide to our citizens, trying to get the taxpayer the biggest bang for the buck.
Commissioner Jeff Burrows is very intelligent, honest, hard working, and is a true fiscal and social conservative with a conscience. He is also an excellent Dad and husband. Jeff has been constantly earning the respect of his peers both locally and statewide. I would like to note that his candidacy has been endorsed by Representatives Nancy Ballance and Ron Ehli as well as Senator Fred Thomas.
Jeff Burrows takes the responsibility we have given him very seriously and strives to make the right decision(s) every day.
For these, and many other, reasons I ask you to please cast your vote for Jeff Burrows on November 4th.
