A question for all the community

November 12, 2013 by Editor

What if city residents (or county residents if we are talking about a county) hired a company such as a property management company to manage things within the city limits? Make sure traffic lights worked, the roads got upgraded when needed, etc. etc. Then we would not need the tax/theft system we have today that uses our money in unacceptable ways, and we would not need to b. and moan about all the council members and commissioners.
And, if the company did a bad job managing the city, then we could hire a different one. Why do we keep paying for a system that was built before Rome?

Who does the hiring and firing, Chris? In fact, we already have in place the system you suggest: it\’s called voting. And if you disagree with those who have been voted into office, the obvious solution is to run for office yourself so things will get done the way you want them.

Who is going to hire…..and fire this management company when they don’t prove to know their job?
