When Larry Milless was informed he needed to have a fundraiser and set aside a substantial amount in order to qualify for a kidney transplant, it was a complete surprise. Having worked on many fundraisers for others, it never occurred to us to have one ourselves. Our daughter Cheryl took the bull by the horns and turned a planned garage sale into a fundraiser. She put the word out and the response was immediate and overwhelming. No words can express the gratitude and thanks we want to extend to each and every one of the businesses, the community, and the individuals who participated in so many ways. This has been a humbling experience for our family that has restored our faith in humanity.
