One of the offices that we will be voting for is for a member of the School Board.
One of the contenders, Lee J. Tickell, is listed on the ballot. The other, Terry Nelson, will be a write-in opponent
Word is being been passed out by someone that Tickell had been accused, at some time and in some place, on charges of child molestation.
Nothing except a sign and the charges were attempted to be presented in a Hamilton store, and because there is no truth or records of any kind in what is being put forth, the store refused to handle it.
Why this is being done and what the dispenser is getting for it is unknown, but it sure seems like it’s an effort to aid Terry Nelson in his attempt to get the job.
I understand that he already has a job as the Ravalli County Planning Administrator which he got in a funny way, so I don’t understand why he is seeking this one, too.
If this is Modern Politics, well, I guess that using lies to win an election is OK!
