TOWN OF STEVENSVILLE
PUBLIC NOTICE
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from The Town of Stevensville and Ravalli County Economic Development Authority to construct sanitary sewer system improvements in the town limits of Stevensville, Montana and within the newly formed Tax Increment Finance District (TIFD) just north of Stevensville, in the County of Ravalli. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project.
The project will improve the existing sanitary sewer system by replacing aged and leaking pipe, providing upgrades to undersized pipe, and adding new pipe to connect to existing and future industrial businesses north of Stevensville. The project will be located along 2nd Street from the wastewater treatment plant to Buck St.; Pine Street from 2nd Street to Eastside Highway; Eastside Highway from Pine Street to Ace Hardware; Wildfowl Lane from Eastside Highway to 450 LF north of Eastside Highway; north of Eastside Highway to Selway Corporation; and along Peery Lane from Selway Corporation to the Old Creamery Building. Gregory S. Turner and Jennifer J. The Beneficiary anticipates and may disperse such amounts as may be required to preserve and protect the property and for real property taxes that may become due or delinquent, unless such amounts of taxes are paid by the Grantors. BitterRoot Bus and MR TMA of Missoula is applying for our annual 5311 grant from the Montana Dept. of Transportation. Due to recently enacted federal legislation, BitterRoot Bus is required to develop a community Transportation Coordination Plan.
