Thank you to the Lone Rock Bible Church’s Men Group for rerouting part of the trail in the River Park, and cutting away the windfalls.
Every winter and spring we get the usual falling cottonwoods that inhibit the trail and damage the fences. In addition, spring flooding takes it toll on the trail that follows the river bank.
Last spring and again this fall, the group volunteered their time, talents and energy to make the trail through the park safer and more usable.
Thanks to Pastor Russell Scheffel, the Lone Rock Bible Church Men’s Group and others who keep the trail cleared and safe, and pick up litter. And thank you to the dog walkers who conscientiously clean up their dog’s waste.
