Now that SCOTUS has decided what’s best for Montana (when it comes to controlling what money corporations can donate for political campaigns), I’ve decided that I will only allow information provided by independent newspapers and public access television to inform my vote. Any mass media outlet owned by a large corporation (like Lee Newspapers) will no longer be a source for me for political advice. I will not watch any political ads on TV or listen to them on the radio. If they come on, I will change the channel.
Any mailings I receive that are not directly from the candidate(s), I will throw away. I refuse to allow big money to sway my vote. Won’t you all please join me in this pledge?

Wonderful concept, Tammie – thanks for sharing! I’ve curated your letter on my ScoopIt page, and tweeted it as follows: “Pledge of integrity: I’ll only allow info provided by independent newspapers & #pegtv to inform my vote | @scoopit bit.ly/OZd1oz “
