I would like to thank your community for the Bitterroot Hotshot Fire Fighters you sent to us in Colorado.
I live in Boulder County, Colorado, south of the High Park fire your Hotshots are working; it was on the internet, via pictures from the National Guard, that I noted your contribution to us.
At this afternoon update, Colorado has 10 wildfires; I have family and friends in four of those wildfire zones, from the two in the south, near Durango, to Estes Park, which is over, Colorado Springs, and then Fort Collins.
I am so grateful, as all of us in Colorado, for your fire fighters! I think of the wives, husbands and children, while loved ones are away fighting a monster of a fire… and the reflection of a community, I did not know, until pictures of dedicated, worn faces, were captured on the internet. I googled to find out where the Bitterroot was located!
Please assure the community that our prayers include your loved ones, and cover the families that are sacrificing… it is very, very uncomfortable, and tense down this way… and we are very, very grateful for your help, courage, and sacrifice!
