Support for Trautwein

May 30, 2012 by Editor

We have known Paige Allen Trautwein for fifteen years and what has impressed us most is her hard work and determination to do her very best job in whatever she decides to do. Paige has a unique ability to handle really tough situations with grace, dignity and good judgment.

Paige was born and raised in the Bitterroot, but has broadened her horizons by moving to other areas. We met her as she managed a large restaurant in Moscow, Idaho, owned by the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Her supervisory and budgetary skills were a very important part of this job. At one stage she was in charge of three of their restaurants. She came back to the Bitterroot in 2000, and was hired by Debbie Harmon (the current Clerk of District Court) and worked in the courtroom. Then, after her marriage to Danny Trautwein, she moved to his home in Hailey, Idaho. There she worked in the Blaine County’s Clerk of the District Court office and was trained in the many features available on the style of computer system which Ravalli County also uses. These features can enable more efficiency for both the Clerk of Court’s office and for those they serve. Paige and Danny returned to the Bitterroot and she was again hired as a deputy Clerk in Ravalli County.

Paige has brought these skills to the Ravalli County District Court Clerk’s office and has been willing to provide the training to the other employees. She feels there is more still to do, and would like the opportunity to do so in a supervisory capacity. She has spent a total of eleven years working in district clerk offices and has the training and knowledge to make a smooth transition. Paige has also improved her personal knowledge by acquiring her Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, proving that she is constantly seeking to improve herself through more education, and also by listening to her clients needs.

We feel that she has the disposition, the right attitude, is the most knowledgeable, and with her experience is the best qualified person to be the Clerk of the District Court.
