Dear Editor,
The majority of people do not know what the Clerk of District Court even does, yet they will be voting for a new person to take over the responsibility of running that office. The best person to run that office is Maureen Draper Presswood. I fully support her as a candidate and ask you to vote for her at the primary election in June.
Maureen (“Mo”) has worked for 20 continuous years in that office. She knows what changes and improvements need to be made, and has the knowledge, expertise and stamina to get the job done. Maureen’s purpose in running for Clerk of District Court is for that specific reason.
The average Ravalli County citizen probably won’t know who could best handle the job — but ask anybody in the legal community and you will get a definite answer. I have known Maureen since 1994 and worked closely with her since 2003, and I definitely know who is best for the position.
Please join me on June 5th and vote for Maureen Draper Presswood for Clerk of District Court.
