The Bitterroot Bucs lost both games to a tough Belgrade team on Saturday in a doubleheader. The first game they lost 7-1 and a disasterous second inning led to a 13-2 loss in the nightcap.
Sunday, the Bucs defeated the Kalispell A Lakers, 5-4 ad 10-0. Tyler Thorson continued his strong batting. He was 3-for-4 with a double. Sage Hansen scored the go ahead run in the second inning. Riley Philips struck out five from the mound with four walks and six hits. Kadin Beller was the catcher. In the second game, Cody Rolsholven had a double and Kris Andrson scored two runs off of a single.
The Bucs lost to Missoula AA Mavs last Wednesday in Missoula. The highlight of the night was an out of the park home run by Thorson. It was the first time this season a home run has been knocked out of Legion Park in Missoula.
The Bucs will meet the Bitterroot Red Sox in Florence on Sunday.
