I was deeply troubled last week when I read an article that gave all the credit for the addition of the C-130H cargo planes to Montana’s Air National Guard Unit to Senator Tester and Max Baucus. What truly bothered me about this letter is how the author chose to leave Congressman Denny Rehberg out of his letter, ignoring all the work Denny has done on this issue, just to score political points for Senator Tester.
It is no secret that the race between Denny Rehberg and Senator Tester is going to be one of the most watched races in the country. But that does not mean that people need to resort to hiding the truth just to score political points. Denny Rehberg has been a strong advocate for Montana’s Air National Guard and should be given the credit that he deserves for helping them get these new cargo planes.
Not only has Denny been one of their biggest advocates in Washington, D.C., he also has been working hard to keep our F-15s. Denny knows how much the Montana Air National Guard means to our local economy and to our National Defense. I know he will continue to tirelessly fight for our Air National Guard, and he should be given the credit he deserves for his work.
I wanted to write this letter to ensure that everyone else knows that if they read the letter I read that it was misleading, and Denny Rehberg’s work to get these new planes should be given praise. Thank you, Denny, for all you do for us!

We should all thank Denny for his work increaseing the size and scope of government over the years. Denny thank you for raising the debt 5 times. Denny thank you for voting for Medicare Part D that is adding trillions to the debt. Denny thank you for doubling the Department of Education’s budget. I really enjoyed your vote for the Bridge to Nowhere and your willingness to even give your friend Charley Rangel some money. So thank you for all you do for us.
